Six years later, FitTV was purchased by News Corp.'s Fox Cable Networks Group and merged it with "America's Health Network". After this merger, the Fox decided to rebrand the channel as "The Health Network". It stayed that way until Discovery Communications bought "The Health Network" in 2001 and brought back the "FitTV" name.
